“The Chris Williams Benefit Concert” May 2nd at The Expo Building in Long Beach from 4-8pm co-hosted by KJAZZ’s Helen Borgers and Steamers Jazz Cafe’s Terence Love!

Our friend, Chris Williams, has been having health problems and he needs our help! He has been in and out of the hospital and his medical bills have been piling up. As bad as that is, he also needs another operation! We, the musicians who work with him, want to help and we hope that you do to. We are holding We are asking for a $20 donation. There will be opportunity drawings for prizes! Please come out for this worthy cause!

My Old Bands
My Old Bands-these are recordings from bands I've played with or friends of mine. Most of them come from The 1980's when i was in San Diego.
 
  Vinyl
These are some tunes I recorded off of vinyl that might never be released as CDs, but great music.
  Saxophone George
My reputation is mostly as a sax player. I've played for over 45 years (good lord). Jazz, Blues, rock country. I graduated from San Diego State and attended North Texas State for 3 years.

I tried my hand at a record label starting in 1998. GemTone released 4 CDs, was distributed by City Hall. While we didn't sell much out of stores, the bands all did pretty well, with 2 of the 4 nominated for record of the year in their respective categories and cities. We featured jazz and blues artists from Southern California.

I still can help with production and manufacturing.
