GemTone Records was founded in 1998 to produce, manufacture and distribute jazz and blues music in Southern California. We were originally distributed by City Hall Records.
GemTone Records currently focuses on digital releases using the CD Baby aggregator. We also use Nimbit to reach people in territories not serviced by PayPal. I am also starting to look into bandcamp and some internet rario outlets including Jango
GemTone has also expanded the syles of music represented to include Blues, Rock, Jazz, Electonica and House.

Our current release shcedule is for a digital single by the 20th of every month. We have been successful in reaching this goal in 2011. Please go to the catalog page to see our songs.
I am going to attempt to post at least one video per month this year also.
GemTone is currently a one man operation. I do the production, artwork, distribution and marketing.
I am open to working with new talent at this time. Or possibly I could help you with your label.
